WHAT
Join us on Tuesday, November 5th for an inspirational night with Dr. Rebecca Isbell, author of Nurturing Creativity.
We are excited to offer this FREE session to early childhood administrators, teachers, and instructional coaches. Participants will receive a copy of the book and have an opportunity after the session to have the book signed by the author! Two hours of CTLE professional learning credits will be awarded to participants at the end of the session.

During this session, participants will explore the use of open-ended materials to inspire students to develop creativity and deep and critical problem-solving skills.
Dr. Janis Strasser, Co-author of Big Questions for Young Minds
Participants will discover what are the “big” questions to ask students to encourage them to think deeply and stretch their thinking.
Dr. Shannon Riley- Ayers, Senior Program Officer
This session will use data to paint the picture of the current state of instruction in kindergarten through third grade and identify opportunities for shifts in teaching to more effectively meet the needs of young learners.

Participants will explore how to use blocks as an instructional strategy throughout their classroom environment.

Participants will discuss what brain science tells us about guided play, helping children meet standards through play, and nurturing culturally rich dramatic play.
